Rev. Jesse “I have a scheme” Jackson and others are planning a rally to support Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who for political reasons dropped all charges against “Empire” actor/singer Jussie Smollett, and has since been facing widespread criticism across the spectrum. Why? Because it looks like a blatant disregard for the rule of law with racial, political undertones, and that falls directly into Jackson’s wheelhouse.
Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, a sort of Clinton Foundation with a racial extortion shakedown model, says the civil rights “leader” will join fellow clergy, politicians, lawyers and community organizers for a Monday morning rally at the Chicago Temple to support the lawless Foxx.
In a prepared statement, Jackson said that the criticism of the Cook County State’s Attorney is “unreasonable, unjustified and politically motivated.”
It isn’t unreasonable at all. What’s unreasonable is Jesse Jackson stirring up racial animosity over a case that was a slam dunk conviction thrown out for no other reason than unreasonable, unjustified, racial politics.
Foxx continues to face criticism since Chicago prosecutors threw out all 16 felony counts against Smollett, who is black and gay. The evidence against the “Empire” actor was pretty clear that he faked a racist, anti-gay attack on himself on January 29 of this year.
The prosecutor is now facing an FBI investigation. They believe it is possible that she broke the law since she was in phone contact with Tina Tchen, Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, and an unnamed relative of Smollett’s. In the texts to Smollett’s relative, the relative said, “Omg this would be a huge victory.” Foxx answered that she could not promise, but she would try. That is at least improper if not downright illegal. The entire thing smacks of political favoritism. Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) plans a protest of their own outside Foxx’s office on Monday because she dismissed all of the Smollett charges. The FOP asked for a federal investigation into whether Kim Foxx, the Cook County State’s Attorney, tried to interfere into the department’s investigation of “Empire” star Jussie Smollett on behalf of a former Obama administration official.
In recent days a picture appeared of Foxx posing with Democratic Party 2020 hopeful Senator Kamala Harris
From The Washington Times:
Authorities say that in return for the charges being dropped, Smollett agreed to forfeit the $10,000 he put up to get out of jail and completed community service. The Chicago Tribune reports that the community service included volunteering at Rainbow/PUSH Coalition.
The proverbial elephant in the room is that NOBODY, NO ONE, NOT ONE PERSON EVER, has agreed to give up their bail money if they were truly innocent of charges. If there were ever a case for righteous indignation that would be it, but Smollett agreed and said, “Meh” to the government keeping his $10,000. That amount buys a lot of rope, bleach, red ball caps, and two Nigerian brothers.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it
