Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) is joining Fox Corp’s board of directors, the media giant announced Tuesday morning.
What the hell is happening to Fox? Bret Baier and Shepard Smith connive to take down Jeanine Pirro, and now the news network brings onboard the man responsible for control of the House going to the Democrats. Had Ryan supported President Trump’s agenda, heck, if Ryan simply made sure to fund the border wall, the Republicans would still be the majority party in the House, and the country would not have to be dealing with absolute lunatics running the House.
Ryan and Formula One Group executive chairman Chase Carey will join Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, and Jacques Nasser as members of the powerful board. Aragon CEO Anne Dias and Hernandez Media Ventures chief Roland A. Hernandez have also been added.
“We are thrilled to welcome our new colleagues to the FOX board. We look forward to working with and being guided by them as we begin a new chapter, steadfastly committed to providing the best in news, sports, and entertainment programming,” Lachlan Murdoch said in a statement.
On Tuesday, Fox separated the corporation’s entertainment divisions that Disney is taking over starting midnight on Wednesday, including 21st Century Fox, its movie studio and entertainment cable channels.
Ryan’s appointment is noteworthy due to his history as someone in the leadership of the Republican Party. Rupert Murdoch and he have been friends for many years. In 2014, Murdoch named him as a presidential contender he had “particular admiration for.”
Murdoch will be co-chairman of the company, which will allow him to stay right in the middle of things.
Good luck to Fox with this appointment. I hope they never need a wall.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it
