President Trump has named Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a Terrorist organization and expects it to increase financial pressure on the Iranian regime, but I doubt it. The EU seems to be happy doing business with the largest country to support terrorism openly and in several different countries. But some other countries might be willing to join in, especially Arab countries as Arabs and Persians are natural enemies who share a common religion. Iran’s government warned the United States about making this move, but the idea that Iran could do anything to us that we couldn’t return a hundredfold is ludicrous.
President Donald Trump on Monday announced his plan to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
“This action sends a clear message to Tehran that its support for terrorism has serious consequences,” Trump wrote in a statement released by the White House. “We will continue to increase financial pressure and raise the costs on the Iranian regime for its support of terrorist activity until it abandons its malign and outlaw behavior.”
The designation raises awareness of the reality that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, creating unrest throughout the Middle East and the rest of the world.
“If you are doing business with the IRGC, you will be bankrolling terrorism,” Trump’s statement read.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is preparing to detail the decision in a press conference later Monday.
The designation comes with sanctions, and the United States can shun companies and countries who continue doing business with the outlaw regime.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it
