I couldn’t help but laugh with satisfaction at the account you’re about to read! Former congressman and presidential hopeful Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke was doing some campaign stumping at a Colorado town hall meeting in which he came face-to-face with a staunchly pro-Second-Amendment woman who proved to have the attitude of a mountain lion in a small housecat-sized body — lots of fight in a small package!
This from BizPac Review:
Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke came face to face with a woman who confronted him over his proposed gun confiscation plan.
The former Texas congressman was speaking to a crowd at a Colorado town hall event when the woman challenged him on his mandatory buyback program which would target high-powered weapons.

“I am here to say: Hell, no, you’re not,” Lauren Boebert told O’Rourke Thursday, referring back to his “hell yes” comment during last week’s presidential debate question on whether, if elected, he would take guns like the AR-15 away from law-abiding citizens.
When Boebert recalled O’Rourke’s remarks, supporters in the crowd at the front steps of the Aurora Municipal Center cheered “hell yes!”
But when she took her stand against the Democrat’s proposal, she was met with boos and heckling, leading O’Rourke to remind the crowd more than once to be “respectful.”
“I have four children, I am 5-foot-0, 100 pounds, I cannot really defend myself with a fist,” Boebert told the 2020 contender. “I want to know how you’re going to legislate that because a criminal breaks the law, so all you’re going to do is restrict law-abiding citizens, like myself.”
“Self-defense is a right that we have that shall not be infringed in America,” she added at the event held in Aurora, the same city which dealt with a mass shooting in 2012 when a gunman killed 12 people and wounded more than 50 at a movie theater.
The 32-year-old business owner reportedly drove three hours to the event from the town of Rifle where, at her restaurant, the staff carries firearms, according to the Denver Post, which noted that as she spoke to the Democrat, “her Glock handgun was holstered at her side.”
.@ChrisCuomo: "Are you in fact in favor of gun confiscation?"

So what do you think of Beto’s proposal to confiscate weapons from law-abiding citizens? I’m not in favor of it, by any means. My belief matches this young woman’s attitude. If guns are confiscated from law-abiding citizens, the only ones left with arms are going to be the criminals. They’re already breaking the law – so what’s one more law? I don’t want my home turned into a killing field like a gun-free school.
