There has been a virtual uproar out of House Democrats since President Trump’s Monday tweetstorm in which he called the freshmen congresswomen, specifically Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Ilhan Omar, on the carpet for their inflammatory rhetoric that senior Democrats, including Speaker Pelosi herself, are letting slide.
All it would take is to read ALL of what the president said rather than picking out key phrases and it becomes obvious that he’s speaking in much broader terms than that of which he is accused (they say he’s RACIST!!) and is instead painting a broader picture of actions they could take to prove their worth.
Of course, being who they are, Democrats delight in taking snippets of what the president says and presenting them as the ONLY thing he said and using those snippets to inflame public opinion against him. It’s TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) on full display.
Speaker Pelosi decided she would double down and see if she could pin the charge of Racism on President Trump.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Monday that Democrats will offer a resolution condemning President Donald Trump’s “racist” tweets against Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
Pelosi wrote a letter to House Democrats announcing that they will draft a resolution to condemn Trump’s “racist” tweets against progressive Democrats.
“This weekend, the President went beyond his own low standards using disgraceful language about Members of Congress,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote.
“This morning, the President doubled down on his attacks on our four colleagues suggesting they apologize to him,” she added. “Let me be clear, our Caucus will continue to forcefully respond to these disgusting attacks.”
President Trump taunted the “squad” of far-left first-term progressive Democrats on Sunday, telling them to go back and fix the places they came from before telling the rest of the country what to do.
Trump’s tweets caused an uproar amongst the media and Hollywood celebrity classes, and now, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D–TX) hopes to capitalize on the president’s message by condemning them in Congress.
Lee said she will draft a resolution of condemnation.
“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will be drafting a Resolution of Condemnation for the words used by President Trump about four members of the House of Representatives over the weekend,” Jackson Lee’s office wrote:

The Twitter bombs to which Speaker Pelosi was referring are covered more in another article here under the title of Democrats Too ‘Petrified’ to Confront ‘Anti-USA, Pro-Terrorist’ Squad – Donald Trump.
UPDATE!! Speaker Pelosi’s remarks were ruled OUT OF ORDER during the session in which the resolution was introduced. She couldn’t resist getting personal, and her attacks were ruled to be not in keeping with parliamentary rules that govern House floor conduct.
