Ben Carson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, on Wednesday during an interview, affirmed that Donald Trump is not a racist.
The HUD secretary, in essence, translated a series of tweets by the president for “The Squad” or as I like to call them, “The Four Morons of the Apocalypse,” Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).
Trump was trashed by Democrats and their stenographers in the establishment news industry for the tweets that were posted on Sunday that appeared to target the Four Morons. I say appeared to, because the president never named anyone.
“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” the president tweeted.
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!” he added.
Of course, Democrats focused on the fact that only one of the Four Morons was born in another country, using that to completely ignore the substance of what the president was saying. These women hate America. It is very apparent by their very own words.
During the interview on Fox News, Carson was asked if he thought Trump’s words were racist, and the secretary, who is a black American, responded in the clearest and most concise way possible.
“I have an advantage of knowing the president very well and he’s not a racist,” Carson said.
“His comments are not racist, but he loves the country very much. And he has a feeling that those who represent the country should love it as well,” Carson added.
That’s all Trump said about the Four Morons. Today, Democrats have defined racist as anyone who disagrees with a person of color.
The president never mentioned neither anyone’s race nor their names.
When asked about Trump’s comment that they should go back to where they came from, Carson translated those comments for the Four Morons and the Fake News media by saying that the president’s comments had to do with what the Trump administration has done so far to make life better for all Americans, and especially minorities. Remember, Donald Trump specifically targeted minority communities economically, and it’s working. Black and Hispanic unemployment are now at the lowest levels in history, thanks to Trump’s economic policies.
“I think you can see what the president means by looking at his accomplishments,” Carson said.
“Look at his policies. Under this president, you see the rising tide lifting all boats. You see low unemployment, record low, for blacks, for Hispanics, for all the demographics of our nation.”
“When you have somebody spending this much time and this much effort trying to elevate those who are vulnerable and who are suffering in our society, I think we should pay a lot more attention to what they are doing than what anybody is saying,” he added.
President Trump has done more for the very people that Democrats claim he wants to harm than they have ever done during their long and extended political careers. Democrats talk a good game, but when it comes to getting things done, only Trump has come through.
Dr. Carson has been consistent with his belief that Trump is not a racist. Back in March, the secretary told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, “I’ve had an opportunity to interact with racist people throughout my life. And Trump is not one.”
