Kim Campbell, Canada’s first female prime minister, joined the ranks of already disgraced Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib by referring to President Donald Trump as a “motherf**ker” on Saturday over his commitment to building a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Oh, Canada….
Campbell, who served as prime minister from June 25, 1993 to November 4, 1993, tweeted the expletive about Trump Saturday morning, using the same profanity-laced term as freshman congresswoman Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in her vow this week to impeach the president.
Tlaib made headlines when during a MoveOn.org reception promised to remove President Trump from office by telling the crowd, “We’re going to go in there, and we’re going to impeach the motherf**ker.” It’s really sad when someone as ignorant as that is elected to Congress.
As several Twitter users criticized her profanity, Campbell backpedaled by arguing that her language toward Trump was tamer in comparison to former Mexican president Vicente Fox. That’s like saying you beat your children a lot less severely than your spouse has beaten your children.
Re these responses to my tweet- the obscenity is in the embedded tweet! If you don’t get the reference to the comment by Congresswoman Taib- can’t help you. BTW I am MAGA compared to my pal, fmr Mexican Pres @VicenteFoxQue 🙂 https://t.co/ElG9NWo8M2

Some Democrats did criticize Tlaib’s filthy remark, if only because words like that turn people against you, with some of them saying that impeachment should remain off the table until Special Counsel Robert Mueller concludes his witch hunt against the president. That’s Democrats trying to act like they are civil and thoughtful statesmen.
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) called the Michigan Democrat’s remark “inappropriate“ and asked his colleagues to act with caution in discussing with the hot-button issue. “You can’t accomplish very much of anything unless you have civility and show respect for your colleagues,” said the newly minted House Oversight and Reform Committee chairman. “Those kinds of comments do not take us in the right direction.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was seemingly more forgiving of Tlaib, stating that while she does not condone coarse language, the firestorm of criticism appeared to be driven by sexism. “I don’t think any ‘should make a big deal’ of the comment,” Pelosi told MSNBC host Joy Reid in a town hall Friday. “I’m not in the censorship business. I don’t like that language, I wouldn’t use that language, but I wouldn’t establish language standards for my colleagues,” she added.
So, even leftists in other countries are trying to criminalize policy when it doesn’t suit them. In the end, nobody really cares what a Prime Minister for only a minute has to say about our politics, but it still stands out that a former head of state has joined the ranks of leftist sludge by lowering standards of behavior. Campbell should be ashamed for herself, but it looks like she’s going to double down on it. Can it be that long before more heads of state begin piling on?
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it @realDonaldTrump!
