Fox News’ legal analyst and #1 best-selling author of The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump Gregg Jarrett chimed in Wednesday on recent media reports that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will more-than-likely be leaving the Department of Justice (DOJ) within weeks, declaring that the move will help “restore the rule of law” at the DOJ.
“Reports Wednesday by Fox News and others that rogue Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to resign in several weeks – soon after William Barr is confirmed by the Senate as our nation’s next attorney general – means that the Justice Department is headed for badly needed reforms,” writes Jarrett.
“Under the failed leadership of fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Rosenstein, the department has been operating more like the Department of Injustice in its handling of the out-of-control and ever-expanding Russia probe led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and overseen by Rosenstein. And that’s only one example of Rosenstein’s misconduct,” he added.
“Once Barr becomes attorney general, politically motivated decision-making will be banished. Corrupt tactics will be halted. Restoring the integrity and credibility of the Justice Department – once a great law enforcement institution – will not happen overnight, but it will be Barr’s enduring challenge in the months ahead,” Jarrett writes.
Rod Rosenstein is the linchpin of the cover-up of all the corruption that took place before, during, and after the 2016 election by the Obama DOJ and FBI. He has conflicts of interest all over the place.
After the presidential election, Rosenstein’s mission has been to block any and all investigations into that corruption, things like the illegal unmasking of Trump campaign workers, spying on first candidate then president-elect Donald Trump.
When James Comey was fired, the actors in the first government coup attempt of our nation’s history had to find a way to block the new administration from finding out the details of what really went on during the election. Comey was the guy who was doing that, and when he was fired, Rosenstein picked Robert Mueller to take over the mantle. Most people don’t know that the day before Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Counsel to start a witch hunt against the president, he escorted Mueller through the White House to interview with Trump for the FBI Director job to replace Comey. When Trump didn’t hire him, Rosenstein appointed Mueller as Special Counsel the very next day. That is a massive conflict of interest.
Mueller knew all the players in the coup attempt and was the perfect person to do everything in his power to keep the Trump administration bogged down and away from any investigations into the Obama administration’s attempts to rig the election against Trump and help Hillary Clinton win the White House.
After scheming Democrats got Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the Russia probe, and investigations into Hillary Clinton’s many crimes, Rosenstein, as Deputy Attorney General, should have taken the lead on helping get to the bottom of the massive amount of corruption that took place during and after the 2016 election. Rather than do that, he acted as a barrier to Congressional oversight investigations by ignoring Congressional subpoenas for requested documents, not responding to direct inquiries by Congressional committees, and acting hostile at times against Congress, all in an effort to hold out until the midterm elections when there was a good change the investigations would all go away if the Democrats won back the House. They did, and Rosenstein can think mission accomplished.
Rosenstein is a man I believe to be evil. He has lied repeatedly to authorities and did everything in his power to cover up the corruption of his friends and colleagues. He has massive conflicts of interest that we have reported on in the past, and the only thing we should say about his departure is good riddance.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it @realDonaldTrump!
