Nikki Haley Walks Out Of UN As Palestinian Envoy Blames Israel For Gaza Deaths

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, walked out of Tuesday’s Security Council meeting when the Palestinian ambassador Riyad H. Mansour began condemning Israeli forces.  This was right after she condemned Hamas for violence at the Gaza-Israeli border this week.

Hamas got the Palestinian people to commit violence in Gaza at the Israeli border fence, because the Israelis were celebrating the 70th anniversary of their independence and the U.S. embassy opening in their capital, Jerusalem.

Several officials from the Trump administration were there to celebrate as well, including Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner.  A video address with President Trump was recorded for the occasion where he reiterated hope for peace in the region.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Trump for his courage and his friendship to the Israeli people.

At the same time Palestinians by the thousands participated in riots along the Gaza border.  Some were armed with explosives and firebombs.  The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) warned the rioters to not approach the border, and ended up killing over 50 rioters and wounding over 2,000 others.  They should have listened.

As usual, wussy U.S. Democrat politicians and countries like France demanded that Israel show more restraint.

Survival in Israel isn’t what progressives in America are used to.  In Israel you can’t float a candle down a river while singing Kumbaya for peace.  In Israel you must repel your enemies with force or you die.

The Palestinian ambassador said in his UN remarks “Israel occupation forces” were to blame for the massacre” at the border. Haley disagreed, noting that Israel showed just the right amount of restraint.

Israel is surrounded by people who want to kill them.  The country has a right to defend itself.  There was no legitimate reason for the Palestinians to riot.  Their lives were not being threatened by anyone.  The Israelis were simply celebrating and minding their own business when the terrorist group Hamas started the rioting.

From Town Hall:

“No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has,” Haley said at the Security Council meeting. “In fact, the record of several countries here today suggest that they would be less restrained.”

Who can blame Israel for simply wanting to defend itself?

Reports showed that Hamas orchestrated the riots.  In fact, they offered $100 to any Palestinian family where all family members participated in the riots.  Haley placed the blame on them.

“Let’s remember that the Hamas terrorist organization has been inciting violence for years, long before the United States decided to move our embassy,” she said. “This is what is endangering the people of Gaza. Make no mistake, Hamas is pleased with the results from yesterday.”

Israel gave Haley a gift after being greatly moved by the Trump administration; a rare ancient coin from the Great Revolt of 68 CE, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.  On the coin can be read the words, “Freedom of Zion” and “Year Two of the Revolt,” in reference to the Jewish revolt 2,000 years ago against the Romans.

If Middle East peace were up to the Israelis there would be Middle East peace, but it’s not up to them.  Middle East peace is up to Arab Muslim dictators and terrorists who continue to deny the 1949 Armistice Agreements.
