Poor MSNBC, they can’t seem to get anything right. On Friday they broke what they said was a major news story. Mary Emily O’Hara, a segment producer for MSNBC, said that John Feeley was resigning over allegations that the president said “shitty countries.” This would be a major embarrassment to the president if true. Fortunately, since it was MSNBC, the odds of it being true were slim. As it turns out, it wasn’t true. Feeley had turned in his resignation at the end of December, two weeks before President Trump called the shithole countries shitholes.
PMSDNC is a fake news network but their credibility does mirror The Onion’s and InfoWars’.
“As a junior foreign service officer, I signed an oath to serve faithfully the president and his administration in an apolitical fashion, even when I might not agree with certain policies,” Mr. Feeley said in the letter, Reuters reported. “My instructors made clear that if I believed I could not do that, I would be honor bound to resign. That time has come.”
A U.S. official said Mr. Feeley submitted his resignation weeks ago and that his departure had nothing to do with the recent controversy surrounding Mr. Trump, who is in hot water for calling some countries “s—hole” places during a closed-door meeting Thursday to discuss immigration.
Feeley is an Obama holdover and his resignation doesn’t hurt the country at all and in fact any conservative replacement will serve this country better than he did.
Bye, Feeley. Don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.
