Illegal Alien Convicted of Identity Theft and Illegal Voting

Laura Janeth Garza, 38, stole an American’s identity and illegally registered to vote in Harris County, Texas. Just as the Republicans predicted when Clinton and the Democrats passed the motor voter law, that it would become a vehicle for illegal voting. Of the 19 people recently convicted of voter fraud in North Carolina, 18 registered through the motor voter act. She was given probation for 10 years and charged with a $10,000 fine along with serving time in jail ( 10 years) and deportation. Garza voted in the 2004, 2012 and 2016 elections. We really don’t have a clue as to how many illegals actually vote in our elections, but considering the large amount of close races, it’s not unreasonable to believe that they have affected outcomes of an election.

From The Daily Caller

In August, 19 foreign nationals were indicted for voting in North Carolina. One of the indicted individuals allegedly voted in 16 elections in a period of nearly two decades, The Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported. (RELATED: Foreign Nationals Who Were Indicted For Illegally Voting Still On North Carolina’s Voter Rolls)

All but one of the 19 indicted voters registered to vote through the Department of Motor Vehicles through the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA). The NVRA was an initiative to ease the voter registration process by having people register to voter at the DMVs, according to the Department of Justice.

Public Interest Legal Foundation wrote in its study, “Safe Spaces,” that the NVRA made it easier for anybody to register to vote because there was no verification process in place.

Ohio Republican Rep. Bob Gibbs of Ohio has introduced a bill this month requiring people to show proof of citizenship, like a passport or birth certificate to vote, because too many states are issuing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.
